Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actress who is best known for her role as Missandei in HBO's dramatic Fantasy "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel lived in Southend-on-the-Sea a resort in Essex and found herself drawn to the performing arts from the age of three. Nathalie was taking acting, singing, and dancing lessons around the age of three. The parents of her were thrilled. Emmanuel gained speed as a actor and, by the time she reached her late teens, she was playing young Nala on stage in The West End stage productions of the well-known show "The The Lion King." As she grew into an teen, Emmanuel began auditioning for the roles in TV and films. The actress got her first major break in 2007 when she was cast as Sasha Valentine on the British soap opera "Hollyoaks" (Channel 4, 1995-2010) from 1995 to ). Emmanuel played the part for four seasons, before going off the show in. Emmanuel received her biggest breakthrough on HBO "Game of Thrones" three years later, playing the character of Missandei. The role of Missandei is the interpreter of Daenerys the Targaryen hero (portrayed by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel was a participant in every seasons of HBO's "Game of Thrones" through the finale which aired in May.
